Body-builders versus Wrestlers
Though both types of athletes need strength training programs, they need different types of such. Body-builders primarily need to bulk up only, wrestlers do not need the bulk as much as the other athletes do but need the amount of strength coupled with agility and flexibility to succeed in their matches. The most common mistake a wrestler does is to build muscle mass without really increasing their strength. Use free weights that you can lift whichever way you can and want. This way, your agility and flexibility is not compromised. Anyone can beat a stationary monster, but almost no one can get through a swift and agile dwarf.
